AFTEC's salute to Terence Rattigan--a double bill of The Browning Version and Harlequinade to be staged at the Sai Wan Ho Civic Centre this December--demonstrates the impressive range of this renowned 20th Century dramatist. The plays will be directed by Mr. Stephan Spurr and performed in English. We are now looking for talented youth actors from 12-25 for the production.
The Sm-ART Youth Project is an inter-generational and sustainable programme throughout the year. The project is supported by the Jean C. K. Ho Family Foundation. The project aims to realise the potential of the arts in transforming the lives of disadvantaged young people.
The Absolutely Fabulous Theatre Connection's "Artist in Education" title is bestowed upon an invited practising artist of high calibre who is involved in and very passionate about learning in and through the arts. The artist may be from any art form. Through his/her expertise and experience, an artistic and educational dialogue is engendered between AFTEC and the artist. Each residency is for two seasons.
