AFTEC is now in its 3rd year of negative impact from COVID-19 and the consequences of the closure of theatres and schools have been severe. In March 2022 we were forced to cancel another production resulting once again in a significant loss of income.
Yet we continue to push ahead with new ideas. In April 2022, we are launching digiAFTEC® – a hugely exciting new hybrid platform of digital and live events. It not only reflects the new reality of life but also opens up access for more young people to the AFTEC experience of arts-in-education in schools AND at home.
