Access to Shalowan
10-minute ferry ride from Tung Chung New Development Pier. Service (Tuen Mun – Tung Chung – Shalowan – Tai O) run by Fortune Ferry.
There will also be additional chartered ferries arranged by AFTEC. Limited seats apply for all kinds of ferries, first come first serve. Please arrive early at the pier to queue.
Depart from Tung Chung MTR station. Go via Tat Tung Road & Shun Tung Road. Walk pass the peripheral of Yat Tung Estate through Yu Tung Road. Then, walk through Tung O Ancient Trail to Shalowan Village. The whole journey takes about 1.5 hours.
There are no roads for vehicles in Shalowan. Tourists should not travel to Shalowan by car. Universal access is currently unavailable in the village.
