Hong Kong-Mainland Creative Learning Cultural Exchange

The Hong Kong-Mainland Creative Learning Cultural Exchange, launched as a pilot programme in 2024, promotes collaboration and launched as a pilot programme in 2024, promotes collaboration and knowledge-sharing in creative teaching and learning among education professionals from Hong Kong and Mainland China. A total of 32 educators participated, representing cities such as Beijing, Shanghai, Guangdong, Anhui, Jiangsu, Hubei, Shandong, and Zhejiang.

Over five days, participants engaged in a variety of activities, including classroom observations, knowledge-sharing sessions, museum visits, and participation in the Knowledge Exchange Forum. The forum featured keynote presentations, panel discussions, and live creative classroom experiences. On the final day, a dynamic, interactive dialogue between educators from Hong Kong and Mainland China provided an opportunity to consolidate insights and reflect on key learnings.

Thanks to the support of the Culture, Sports and Tourism Bureau (CSTB)’s Art Development Matching Grants Scheme and the Tin Ka Ping Foundation, AFTEC is set to host another cohort of 34 Mainland educators in May 2025.

We’d love to tell you more.
