Absolutely Fabulous Children’s Theatre
at Lee Gardens
12 favourite Aesop’s Fables throughout the year

Aesop was a storyteller believed to have lived in ancient Greece. His stories have become so influential throughout history that they have been adapted into poems, films and plays.

Famous stories such as The Hare and The Tortoise, The Goose that Laid the Golden Egg, The Town Mouse & The Country Mouse and The Lion & The Mouse are still popular today. Each story has a clear moral and inspires us to be better people. Near 4,000 children and parents attended the shows since April last year.

AFTEC is delighted to be back presenting Aesop’s Fables in Lee Garden Two for another twelve Months. Professional performers Sandra Waters and Michael Sharmon will continue to tell a different Aesop’s Fable in each show and will involve the audience in fun activities and songs.
