Merlin the Magician – Relaxed Theatre performance, symposium & workshop

10-13.10.2015
Sai Wan Ho Civic Centre

What is Relaxed Theatre?

Relaxed Theatre (RT) is a term used to describe theatre productions that provide a supportive atmosphere to the audience who, in the main, is comprised of young people with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) and other learning/communication challenges. During relaxed performances, the usual theatre rules and norms are set aside for ASD young people, schools and families to enjoy being in the theatre. In addition to pre-show information, and a chill-out area, the front of house team is ready to assist the audience when needed.
