Directed and adapted by Dr Vicki Ooi, The Jockey Club “From Page to Stage™” Programme 2013 The Lost World is back again!

Everyone can draw – express your creative side with The Lost World! Join Professor Challenger and his team as they hunt for dinosaurs in the Amazon, draw as you watch the play!

Come and explore the props, sets and the gigantic dinosaur puppets during the interactive post-performance activities!

Synopsis of The Lost World

Written by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, this is a story for those who dare to dream and imagine the impossible.

Edward Malone, a reporter for a newspaper, is to interview Professor Challenger who is supposed to have found dinosaurs in South America. Together with the other team members, they go on an expedition into the lost world to prove that dinosaurs did exist.

Do they find any dinosaurs? Who are the ape-men who captured two of their team members? Why does someone collect blue clay?

Special Event: Draw Together Adventure

Ticket holders are invited to come earlier to join a special “Draw Together Adventure” in Sai Wan Ho Civic Centre. Four “The Lost World” themed art stations will be set up to provide creative drawing experiences. Activities include:

1st October: The Lost World Draw Together Pop Up @ Quarry Bay Park

AFTEC just popped up at Quarry Park on 1st October and invited over 200 citizens to draw their own “Lost World”!
