Land route: Depart from Tung Chung MTR station. Go via Tat Tung Road & Shun Tung Road. Walk pass the peripheral of Yat Tung Estate through Yu Tung Road. Then, walk through Tung O Ancient Trail to Shalowan Village. The whole journey takes about 1.5 hours.
There are no roads for vehicles in Shalowan. Tourists should not travel to Shalowan by car. Universal access is currently unavailable in the village.
